We have all read travel magazines, listened to tour guides, and read all the fluff that goes along with it. The trouble with all these reviews is that they are simply trying to sell you something, they are all trying to convince of where you should stay. In fact, half of the travel magazines are paid for by the very places being reviewed.
This isn't such an issue, and you get a lot of great photos of the place you may wish to visit, but it is also hard to find an unbiased opinion of these places. It is also hard to find the answers to some of the questions you may have about the place you want to stay, such as what type of sand is at the beach, whether the camp ground or place you are staying allows animals, what are the people like, how far away is it to the nearest surfing beach, place to eat, or shopping center. These are all questions worth answering.
The next problem you may have is that travel agencies, magazines, and reviewers, usually only review and comment on larger resorts, and bigger tourist destinations. But what about those of us who wish to rough it a bit more, or desire to find that place that is quiet, remote, and untouched by developers and tourists alike. This is where Jack Young intends fill the gap. We have decided to review the many wonders Australia (and the world) has to offer, the smaller locations, the hidden wonderlands that fail to get a mention. We intend to answer all those questions that get asked before embarking on your adventure.
We hope you enjoy your stay, and please feel free to contact us if we have missed anything in our reviews, we would be glad to add anything we may have neglected to mention.
